Hey,
The advantage of running the ITR retainers is you'll have a lighter valvetrain assembly. Because of this you can run a higher redline. If you couple the retainers with stiffer valve springs you can go even higher without the risk of valve float.
A higher redline will take advantage of the power that is made up top beyond the factory redline for example with aftermarket cams or ITR cams.
